Grid Couplings

The Winflex DG is a tapered grid coupling 100% steel coupling, fully interchangeable with US standard, manufactured with accuracy by FCMD and design for all the industry.

Chrome vanadium steel and alloy aluminium are respectively the grid and cover materials. Heat treated to give maximum strength and spring hardness. It always works in the direction of the material within its elastic field. The grid has been manufactured to ensure durability and its tapered design is providing for :

• High torque capacity
• Compact design
• Ease of assembly

Thanks to the very special design of the teeth, the contact surface between the grid and the hub teeth increases proportionately with the torque to keep the same contact pressure at any time. As contact is on numerous teeth, this efficiently absorbs the torque thus avoiding damage. No resulting reaction forces on shafts and the seal is a durable synthetic material. Torque from 53 Nm up to 186 kNm for 19 standard sizes with a maximum bore of 360 mm.

The Flexacier T is a flexible grid coupling 100% steel coupling, manufactured with accuracy by FCMD and design for all the industry.

The Winflex 9000 is an optimized and compact range of all steel flexible coupling with grid elements, perfectly suitable for OEMs with a « quick fit » aluminium cast cover and standard hub lengths.

Torques from 950 to 26500 Nm for 8 standard sizes with shaft diameters from 60 to 200 mm.

A robust design that allows shock & vibration absorption and increases the life span of the connected machines.

T series for Corrosive Atmospheres  with torque from 90 Nm up to 800 kNm for 13 standard sizes with a maximum bore of 270 mm.
